should it though it the major question. in any democracy and republic i think the overall theme is of the states own regulation and the deregulation of the federal govt. but when things get bad like in ww2 and the 1920s we look to big brother for help. and i guess what started socialism on the path was FDR’s “new deal.” it was a good thing when it was needed to create tons of jobs for people that were hungry but i think now people expect that same help when we arent that needy even.
Every debt created must have a cause. And excuse me, but I remember hearing somewhere that the Iraq War is rather expensive, not to mention pointless.

i mean that is quite possible besides the fact that national debt has run up into the trillions, within the first year. one cannot blame free market problems on a govt, except when they try to force their way into it to control the free market. a FREE MARKET will ebb and flow and we must not stop such things otherwise its like holding back a damn and when it backs up the water shall do more than just trickle..

Please don’t equate Nazism, and more importantly, Hitler, to socialism. He was nothing of the sort. More importantly, he was a fascist. That is more accurate a statement. Socialism is such a huge topic, many forms of government, be they repressive or not, can fit under its umbrella. And this applies to virtually every other system of government in practice today, including democracy.
